The article presents the results of archaeological and architectural research of the cellarium under the refectory and adjacent basement rooms in the Dominican monastery in Kraków. It discusses the history of the building, stages of architectural development, and the findings of excavation and conservation works. The functions of the basements over the centuries and their significance for the development of the monastery are analyzed.
